Extra Mural Activities
Our school's learners are known as Q'wiete. The name has its origins thanks to the different types of "Kiewiete" (plovers) that make their home on our school grounds. The letter "Q" (which represents Queenswood) is used in several words that are connected to our school, for example, Queenswood Klein Q's (nursery school), Happie-Q (tuck shop), etc.
The Jannie De Goede Club House
Laerskool Queenswood boasts a beautiful clubhouse that is
also for rent for private functions.
Cost is R3 000 for Club house and Boma
(refundable deposit of R1 000)
Deposit payable 24 hours after booking
Full amount must be paid one week before the function.
Included:
braais, 10 round tables and 100 chairs.
No crockery or tablecloths are rented out together.
